Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain can be acute or chronic and is generally caused by an injury or accident. Common problems include injuries to the rotator cuff, dislocations, torn ligaments, frozen shoulders, fractures and arthritis. However, regardless of the cause of your shoulder pain, it can be so severe that the functionality of your arm is significantly reduced. Trying to live your life with one arm that you can’t lift above your shoulder or around your back can be extremely debilitating and frustrating.
One of the reasons why shoulder pain is a common problem is that the actual joint is very shallow. It’s designed this way because this shallow cavity allows us a wide range of movement in our arms, but at the same time, it also makes it very easy for injuries to occur.
BeFit Training Physios help to relieve your shoulder pain
After a thorough assessment of the cause of your shoulder pain, we will design a treatment plan customised to your exact needs. This plan may include a range of different therapies including ice packs, shoulder strengthening exercises and remedial massage. If you have undergone surgery to repair an injury to your shoulder, we can also help with your rehabilitation and recovery.
