If you haven’t required surgery and are hoping to avoid the necessity, our program focuses on rehabilitative physiotherapy for your knee. This includes strengthening your leg muscles, improving your balance and proprioception (your ability to sense the position of your knee joint), as well as enhancing the functionality related to your sport.
Essentially, we want to normalise your knee’s movements, reduce pain and inflammation, strengthen your quadriceps and hamstrings, calves, hip and pelvic muscles, improve the alignment of the patella, improve overall function and prevent re-injury.
