Why Choose Us
So, you are looking for a physio
Do I need a referral to see a physio?
No, you don’t need a referral to see us. You can book online and come straight in at either our Edgecliff or Coogee clinic. A referral is only needed for some funding pathways, like a GP Chronic Disease Management plan, WorkCover or DVA.
Where are BeFit's physio clinics?
We have two clinics in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Edgecliff is on the ground floor at 287 to 289 New South Head Road, right near Edgecliff Station, and looks after Double Bay, Woollahra, Paddington and Darling Point. Coogee is inside Coogee Diggers on Byron Street, close to Randwick, Bronte, Clovelly, Maroubra and Bondi.
What can BeFit help me with?
We help with everyday aches through to serious injuries, including sports and running injuries, post-operative rehab, ACL and knee rehab, lower back pain, neck pain, TMJ, bone health, and getting you back to the sport or activity you love. Both clinics offer injury rehab, and some programs like ONERO for bone health run at Edgecliff. Have a look through our services to find the right fit, or book online and we’ll point you the right way.
What happens when you book?
How do I book an appointment?
The easiest way is to book online any time. You can also call or text either clinic: Edgecliff on 02 9327 7749 or 0401 699 254, Coogee on 02 7205 2805 or 0413 195 606. No referral needed for a standard appointment.
How much does a physio appointment cost?
A standard physiotherapy appointment is $185, whether it’s your first visit or a follow-up. Appointments with our Senior or Lead Physiotherapist are $210, with follow-ups at $200 at our Edgecliff clinic. If you have private health extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate depending on your level of cover.
What happens at my first physio appointment?
Your first visit starts with a thorough assessment. We talk through your history and goals, look at how you move, and where it helps, run more specialised objective testing like VALD force-plate testing, a running assessment or VO2 max. From there your physio builds a clear plan, and you’ll usually start treatment or exercises the same day. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and book online to get started.
Why put your recovery in our hands?
Why choose BeFit?
We’re not just here to get you out of pain, we’re here to get you back to what you do. BeFit brings physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, and performance testing together under one roof, with a fully equipped gym and measurable testing like VALD and VO2 so your progress is tracked, not guessed. From injury rehab and return to sport through to bone health and concussion, your plan is built around a proper assessment and current clinical evidence. Explore our services or book online to find the right physio for you. Concussion assessment is Edgecliff-only. Running assessment and VO2 run at both clinics.
Are BeFit's physios qualified?
Absolutely. Every physio at BeFit is registered with AHPRA, and our team includes members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and physios with postgraduate qualifications, including an APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. Several have also worked with elite and professional sporting teams. Meet the team and their areas of focus on our team page.

Are BeFit's treatments based on current clinical evidence?
Yes. Every BeFit plan starts with a physical assessment, and where it helps, run more specialised objective testing like VALD strength testing, VO2 max or a running assessment, so your program is based on your own numbers rather than guesswork. We measure at the start and retest as you go, so you can see your progress. Programs like ONERO for bone health follow published clinical trial protocols, and your physio matches treatment to your goals using current research.
